Share the links to books, anything and everything helps. We have 3000 plus titles, and I’m going to be featuring authors, narrators, series books, artists – it only works if it reaches a bigger audience so anything you can do to help is very much appreciated.
We are also considering including some links to YouTube, blog posts, interviews not the whole thing in this newsletter, obviously, but links to content. Possibly some free stories from our authors, the chance to get signed copies of their books. We are open to new ideas, as well. We would love to provide books and content to people who can YouTube, Tik Tok, Bookstagram, etc., things we have very little bandwidth to attack, but that are important in today’s marketing world. Bestselling author William Bayer has been with Crossroad Press for a long time. We have been privileged to reprint his JANEK detective series. The first book, Switch, was so well known that the case it covers was mentioned in an episode of Castle as if it was a real case. This series of novels featuring fictional New York Police Department lieutenant Frank Janek were adapted by the author for television and written for other TV shows. Switch was the source for seven television movies, including two four-hour mini-series. In all of them the main character, NYPD Detective Frank Janek, was played by the actor Richard Crenna. After we did this, we also brought back his two-novel series as David Hunt, The Magician’s Tale (1998 Lamda Literary Award winner) and Trick of Light, as well as the International Bestseller, Punish Me with Kisses.. After reprinting The Dream of Broken Horses, and Peregrine, a cross-over with the Janek series, Crossroad Press followed on with four original novels, including Hiding in the Weave and the three books Pattern Crimes, Tangier and City of Knives in his foreign detectives series. Also included are Visions of Isabelle and Blind Side, two stand alone novels.
