Messenger

A little bit of Hell has just come to earth.

Would you like to become someone else? Well, someone else is about to become you. He will share your heart and your mind, he will seep into your body, he will feel all your ecstacy…

And then he will take you on a slaughterfest.

Occult rites. Ritualistic murder.

You have become possessed.

But not by a ghost.

Not by a demon.

It’s something much worse.

Just as God has a messenger, so does the devil, and that messenger is here, now, in your town. He has a message to send…

The Messenger.

The Pastor’s Chair

Jeb Merryweather has one last chance to get his life back on track after his NFL career was cut short by injury and his life spiralled out of control. Divorced, nearly broke, and just out of rehab, he returns home after seven years to renovate the old church, school and house up Boucher Hill on the outskirts of town. In the school, he finds an ugly old wooden chair.

Back in the day, they called it the Pastor’s Chair. It once sat in the corner of the old church school on the hill in Babylon Georgia. A place where naughty children were forced to sit. But no child wanted to sit in it more than once, as it whispered dark evil thoughts into their minds. They did not know the true origins of the chair, or what secret it held.

He hadn’t forgotten how small towns like this were built like Venice in Italy, on canals of hidden secrets.

They Feed

The night uncovers all we wish not to see.

A troubled man enters a dusky park before sunset. A young woman follows, hidden in shadow. Both have returned to the park to take back something the past has stolen from them, to make right six long years of suffering, and to find justice or perhaps redemption—or maybe they’ll settle for some old-fashioned revenge.

But something evil is alive and awake in those woods, creatures that care nothing for human motivations. They’re driven by their own insatiable need: a ravenous, bottomless hunger.

The campgrounds are full tonight, and the creatures are starving. Before the night is over, they will feed.

Revenge of the Cyber Dragons
Book Two of the Cyber Dragons Trilogy

(Amazon only and in the KDP Select program)

Ex-Rider Keiko “Kei” Springs was living with her adopted daughter Becky away from her previous life of crime. Unfortunately, the past is not easy to escape and her sadistic former sensei, Snake, gives her an ultimatum: perform eight tasks for him or die. The final mission before her freedom is nearly impossible, though. Snake wants her to take down a luxury resort where the super-rich are implanted with their heart’s desires, only to be brainwashed into serial killers for blackmail potential.

Teaming up with the eccentric techjack Paradise, her on-again off-again lover Case, and a Judicial Magistrate named Parvati Rao—Kei thinks she can pull it off. Unfortunately, that’s before she discovers the luxury resort is owned and operated by a nearly omnipotent AI that has it out for her.

Go East, Young Man
Book Two of the Dreamfarer Series

Go East, Young Man, the sequel to Dreamfarer, is an “on the road” adventure story that takes place 150 years in the future. Sam Adams, along with Boone and Alan Webster, travels from San Francisco all the way to Denver, having dangerous encounters on the way. Sam, who played a vital role in shutting down the San Francisco Dream Services Center and waking up half a million dreamers, hopes to meet a mysterious contact in Denver who will recruit him for his next mission. The goal of the nationwide Resistance is to cripple the Dream Factories completely and wake up all Americans, saving them from their psychic dependence on machine-induced dreams, which are far more exciting and fulfilling than the often dull existence of ordinary life.

Severely injured, Sam almost died in his narrow escape from the Center. He feels lucky to be alive and to have the two companions he does. Alan was a pol (policeman) in San Francisco, and Boone is a jack-of-all-trades who’s good at fixing things. Later, though, Sam wonders if Boone appeared too conveniently in his customized car to rescue them, and if he can be trusted.

They have barely begun their quest across an America that has regressed to being a lawless frontier. Wherever they stop, thieves and murderers attack them. Will they ever survive to reach their destination?
