A lot of things are happening at Crossroad Press, as usual. The last of the White Wolf World of Darkness original 13 book Clan series has been contracted in audio. It will not be long before the entire set is available in print, eBook and audio. A milestone. |
A couple of big new releases are imminent from two of our bestselling authors. More to come on that, but really looking forward to release days for Please Don’t Tell my Parents I Bought Superpowers, Lion of the Seven Seas, and Pack Animals. We have spend many, many years bringing back out of print horror, fantasy, science fiction, mystery and a host of other genre titles in digital, but the most satisfying thing is a successful launch for a brand new book. All three of these are Crossroad Press originals. Pre-order now! |
Let’s get to the books! |

Sea of Ghosts – Book 5 of The Warriors of Tir Nan Og by Alison Scott. This epic young adult fantasy series, featuring Lancelot, Vikings, adventure, and unforgettable magical characters is nearing its conclusion. The entire series is an amazingly intricate weave of history and fantasy, honor and trickery. If you love fantasy, this series is for you. We consider it among the finest original books we’ve published and would love to find it a wider audience. |
Amazon Kindle Unlimited / Trade Paperback |
Alison Scott, the daughter of two writers, Alexander Leslie Scott, master of the western detective novel, and artist turned short story writer, Lily Kay Scott, was born in Manhattan. Her brother, Justin Scott, is a master of thrillers, mysteries, and sea stories, including the Isaac Bell Adventures. A Junior Year Abroad from her American university took her to Scotland, where she met her future husband, Clement Skelton–an actor, playwright, film cameraman, Battle of Britain Spitfire pilot, and monster hunter. She had her first baby while living on the shores of Loch Ness. |
From an apprenticeship in Gothic romances, she went on to publish her first hardcover novel, A World Full of Secrets, writing as Alison Scott, while her husband became C.L. Skelton, writing successful family sagas. After she was widowed, she continued writing while raising their two sons, Professor Alasdair Skelton, geologist researching climate change, and actor and gardener Justin Skelton. |
As Alison Scott Skelton, she has published several works of contemporary and historical fiction in the US and Britain; among them, Different Families, A Murderous Innocence, Saving Grace, An Older Woman, and Family Story. |
The Warriors of Tir nan Og, the six-book series that opens with The Underwater Bridge, is her first work for a young adult audience. The next three in the series are The Guardian of the Chapel, Earl’s Helmsman, and The High-King’s Harp. |
